My poem

Ballade - short

I write about the being of the corn.
I worship the idea of being born,
and praise The Son, the being to afford.
I give my poem to The Holy Lord.

I write about the being of the vine,
by grapes produced passed any judgement line.
I praise The Son. May Jesus be adored.
I give my poem to The Holy Lord.

A father or a mother I might be
and by The Son I live eternally.
I praise The Son, Christ Jesus, the award.
I give my poem to The Holy Lord.

For sure my will is not to be ignored.
I give my poem to The Holy Lord.

As I understand it, a short ballade has three quatrains and a distich envoy. The line may be of any length but all lines must be of the same length. And there are only two rhymes in the fourteen lines. The division of the verses is everywhere a refrain, repeated throughout the poem. The rhyme scheme is
| aabB aabB aabB bB |
where B is the rhyme of the refrain line.
